This merlot comes from one of my favorite terroirs in the Napa Valley. At the end of Soda Canyon Rd, stretching from Atlas Peak to Pritchard Hill lies Stagecoach Vineyard. One of the “first growths of Cali” in my opinion, the exposure, soil,and farming all come together to produce world class fruit. Our 2015 Merlot from here is dark, with forward fruit, a silky mouthfeel, with a brightness that ties it together.
